Janhvi Kapoor says audience is not obligated to love her but she will keep working to win over everyone

Actor Janhvi Kapoor, who is the elder daughter of Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi, made her acting debut with Dhadak in 2018. The actress had become popular even before the release of her debut and was often criticised for her privileged background.

In a recent interview with a news agency, Janhvi Kapoor said that she has made peace with the scrutiny that comes with her job as her aim is to win the love of her audience. She said that she is giving herself to the people asking for love, but they are not obligated to do so and that she has to give them reason to do so.

The 23-year-old also said that she needs to keep working to win everyone over. Even though she is aware that seldom do people win over everyone, she aspires to achieve it.

Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen in the film Roohi directed by Hardik Mehta. This is the first time she will be trying horror-comedy.The film also stars Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma and is penned by Fukrey director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba. Roohi will be released in theatres on March 11.
