Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is the hottest topic of discussion in trade circles at this point in time. Every single investigative reporter is on the lookout for updates on Jawan as Shah Rukh Khan fans on social media have been constantly on the lookout for the new date update. The team on Friday morning had locked August 25 as the release date and was set to announce it on Friday evening. But it seems that Shah Rukh Khan has devised an altogether new plan now.

The latest source informs us that Jawan has been delayed further and will now be a mid-September release. According to our source, Shah Rukh Khan has informed Atlee about his decision to bring the film in September 2023, to get a clear run till the release of Salaar.

The change of date was decided on Friday evening in order to maintain a proper gap between Jawan and Animal. "Shah Rukh Khan wants to come in a clear window and not be one of the many in the crowd. He is a lion by heart and wants things to be in his focus. He believes September will do justice to the release of Jawan," the source informed Bollywood Hungama.

Jawan is directed by Atlee and stars Shah Rukh Khan with Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupati.

The last major controversy of 2022 was regarding the statement of Prasoon Joshi over Pathaan. The chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) admitted that the film has undergone cuts as per the rulebook.

Bollywood Hungama has now learnt about the cut list in the film. The examining committee asked for more than 10 cuts, most of which are related to the dialogues. In two places, the word 'RAW' was replaced with 'Hamare' as per the context. 'Langde Lulle' was replaced by 'Toote Foote'. The word 'PMO' was removed while in 13 places, 'PM' was replaced either by President or Minister.

Then, 'Ashok Chakra' was removed and it was replaced by 'Veer Puraskar', 'ex-KGB' with 'ex-SBU' and 'Mrs Bharatmata' with 'Hamari Bharatmata'. In the dialogue 'Isse sasti scotch nahin mili', 'scotch' was replaced by 'drink'. Then a change was made in the text that appears at one point in the film whereby 'Black Prison, Russia' was replaced by 'Black Prison'.

Finally, three changes were made in the song 'Besharam Rang'. The close up shot of buttocks, 'side pose (partial nudity)' shots and visuals of sensuous dance movements during the lyrics 'Bahut tang kiya' were removed or curtailed and replaced with 'suitable shots'. The CBFC cut list, however, doesn't mention how many seconds of shots have been censored. Also it is not clear whether or not the shots of the orange swimsuit, that led to an uproar, have been retained.

After these changes were made, the CBFC granted the censor certificate to the makers of Pathaan on January 2. The film secured a U/A certificate and its length, as mentioned on the certificate, is 146 minutes. In other words, Pathaan is 2 hours and 26 minutes long.

Produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films, Pathaan stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. It is directed by Siddharth Anand and releases on January 25, 2023.

Venturing into a new genre, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal seems to be garnering ample attention as fans cannot wait to see the actor in a brand new avatar. While his look and the details of the film are being kept under wraps, filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, T-Series and the entire team of Animal decided to give a sneak peek into it as we gear up to enter a new year. Right before midnight, the makers unveiled the first look of the Rashmika Mandanna starrer on social media.

Just a day ago, makers had taken to Instagram to make an announcement that the film’s first look will be released on December 31. Keeping up with their promise, before the clock strikes 12, the makers posted the first look of Animal featuring Ranbir Kapoor and the intense poster definitely seems to be creating waves.

For the unversed, Animal is expected to a gangster drama that also brings together Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna for the first time. It also has Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, playing pivotal roles. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, producer and head honcho of T-Series, Bhushan Kumar had spoken about the film saying, “Animal has heroism, songs, real dialogue-baazi, and father-son emotion. Just like you saw how KGF: Chapter 2 had mother's emotion, and action, this one will have action, songs, a big-looking film, everything is there with a great star cast. So, there isn't pressure with the movie but more confidence that film can become a huge one.”

Animal is expected to be shot in Mumbai and is slated to release on August 11, 2023 in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu.

News about Aamir Khan's upcoming project Champions has been doing the rounds for a while. Aamir Khan recently made few revelations about Champions during his childhood friend's event in Delhi.

Aamir Khan was recently in the capital city and shared an exciting update about Champions. The actor expressed his thoughts about being in the Producer’s chair for this specific film.

“It's a wonderful script, it's a beautiful story, and it’s a very heartwarming and lovely film but I feel I want to take a break,” Aamir said. “I want to be with my family, I want to be with my mom and my kids. I will be producing 'Champions' because I really believe in the film, I think it’s a great story."

The said film is the official remake of the Spanish film Campeones. Campeones meaning Champions is a sports comedy-drama set against the backdrop of basketball where an arrogant coach is forced to do community service and train a team with developmental disabilities.

Campeones starred Javier Gutierrez, Jose de Luna, Gloria Ramos, Roberto Chinchilla, Athenea Mata, Luisa Gavasa, Mariano Llorente, Daniel Freire, and Juan Margallo. It was directed by Javier Fesser. The film was the biggest national box office hit of the year.

Meanwhile, the Hindi remake Champions will be co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions along with Sony Pictures International Productions, India, and 200NotOut Productions.

Coming to his films, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Pathaan, in which he will be seen in the role of a spy. The YRF film, directed by Siddharth Anand, also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. The film will mark his return to the big screen after four years and is slated to release on January 25, 2023.

Besides that, SRK has his first collaboration with filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi, Dunki, starring Taapsee Pannu in the pipeline. Along with that, he also his Pan India project Jawan featuring for the first time, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi alongside the superstar. The multi-starrer also has actors like Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Yogi Babu, and Sunil Grover, among others playing pivotal roles.

After becoming a blockbuster in cinemas, Brahmastra starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles is set to arrive on Disney+ Hotstar The digital premiere of Brahmāstra Part One: Shiva will be available to the viewers in their preferred language from Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Releasing on November 4, 2022, the magnum opus is produced by Star Studios & Dharma Productions, and directed and written by Ayan Mukerji.
