Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt has started shooting for her first production venture ‘Darlings’. The film, co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions, stars Alia with Shefali Shah, Vijay Verma and Rohan Matthew.
As Alia Bhatt began ‘prep’ for her debut production venture ‘Darlings’, her production house shared several new pictures from the sets. The pictures showcased the stars during table reading session. The post read, “Chapter 1: Introduction Yeh Comedy Thodi Dark Hai.”

The Dear Zindagi co-stars are co-producing the film with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. It is directed by Jasmeet K Reen.
Sharing a picture from her first day on sets on Instagram, Alia had written, “Day one of DARLINGS! my first film as a producer but I will always be an actor first & forever (in this case a very nervous actor) I don’t know what it is .. a night before I start a new film I get this nervous tingling energy all over my body. I dream all night about messing up my lines..become jumpy.. reach set 15 mins before time fearing I’ll be late!”
Earlier, SRK also tweeted wishing Alia Bhatt good luck by saying, “After this production please sign me up for your next home production little one. I will come in time for the shoot and be very professional…promise!” Aside from Darlings, on the work front, Alia Bhatt also has the Telugu movie RRR and Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Karan Johar’s next with Ranveer Singh in her kitty.
