The group, earlier in the day, did a live stream crooning their songs and giving out spoilers of their comeback. It's February 1st already in South Korea and the comeback date has been announced.

This upcoming album will be their first full-length album since 2018’s 'The Story of Light'.

It's officially February 1st in South Korea which means we are only a few weeks away from the release of BTS' 'BE (Essential Edition)'. The new edition of their latest album will have new content releases as the days pass by. Kicking off with B-side track 'Telepathy', BTS unveiled Suga's Notes from it.
In a 23-second clip, Suga is recording a demo version of the track as you see instruments like piano and guitar in the background. The funky rhythm focused track, Korean title ''잠시' means 'for a moment'. It tells the story of BTS and ARMY and how they couldn't meet the fans amid the pandemic and how the members are the happiest whenever they meet ARMY. The lyrics reflect the emotions, "In the days that feel the same / I’m the happiest when I meet you / In my everyday life that is different every day / the person that is you is the most special to me."
It seems like BTS might release individual notes on how 'BE' was created during the pandemic. The self-produced album has a contribution from each member and actively participated in the creative process.
On January 25, BTS announced 'BE (Essential Edition)' will release on Friday, February 19. The statement read, "During 2020, BTS was able to experience the heartfelt and enduring care and affection of fans and the world, even as we all faced a year of new normality. No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, a nomination for the 2021 Grammy Awards---at every milestone were the resonance and passion of the fans of BTS for the thoughts, feelings and inner reflections contained in their music."
The statement further read, "With 'BE (Essential Edition)', we hope to show the deepest of appreciation to all fans who have stood by BTS in the making of history. We hope that BTS together with all fans will continue on their remarkable journey in 2021. We ask for your continued love and interest for 'BE (Essential Edition)'."
'BE (Deluxe Edition)' dropped on November 20, 2020,. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 2020 with their title track 'Life Goes On' earning No. 1 spot on Hot 100 on Billboard charts. They earned their third No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart (following 'Dynamite' and Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo's 'Savage Love - Laxed – Siren Beat') and first with a Korean song. The title track became the first Korean song to ever top the chart. With record-breaking track 'Dynamite', BTS earned their first group nomination at Grammys 2021 in the Pop Duo/Group category.
In 'BE', BTS opens themselves up to express their mixed feelings about this situation—fear and anxiety mingled with the determination to overcome all this. The album contains the band’s emotions and ruminations they had throughout this year, and the story of “us” continuing the existential journey. That is also the reasoning behind the album’s title, BE, which stands for “to be” or “existence” and does not abide by any form.

After the super hit film Gully Boy, actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are all set to pair up once again. The duo have reportedly got on board for a love story by Dharma Productions. The film will be directed by Karan Johar himself.
Karan Johar last directed the romantic drama Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. While he has directed segments in Netflix original Lust Stories and Ghost Stories, this will be his next big screen directorial.

During the discussion on Saturday, Salman pointed out that Abhinav and Rubina have been following a pattern in the game and raised their control issues as well. Salman Khan agrees to Rahul and Vikas and says that the couple wants people to be in their control. Ever since some alarming reports appeared about Sharmila Tagore not keeping good health, the legendary diva has been inundated with calls from anxious friends, relatives, and fans.
Putting to rest all concerns about her health, Sharmila Tagore ji says, “By God’s grace I am in fine health. There is absolutely no reason to be concerned. The past year’s lockdown also gave the highly versatile critically acclaimed actress an opportunity to watch all her films chronologically. “Many of my own films, I had never seen before. And I must say some of my old films like Choti Bahu and Badnaam Farishtay have withstood the test of time. I like Asit Sen’s Safar and Bhimsain’s Dooriyaan because I played a proper professional. This was so different from the conventional roles for heroines during those days. I like Anupama, Safar, Amar Prem, Talaash and Aradhana. Apur Sansar was a milestone and so was Devi. I got to work with Satyajit Ray in both.”
Sharmilaji’s own personal favourite performance remains the one she gave in the great Satyajit Ray’s Devi when she was just 14. “It is my own favourite film and performance. My life changed when I was introduced to Satyajit Ray. It was acting for me thereafter. But I kept telling myself I’d quit after every film. I saw myself in my first Hindi film Kashmir Ki Kali and I didn’t like myself. I said, one more film and I’m done. But it continued. But I left so many films: Khilona, Tere Mere Sapne, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, Aadmi Aur Insaan.... You have to appreciate the fact that acting is not the be-all end-all of my life. There is so much more to life. In any case, unlike Jaya (Bachchan) or Shabana (Azmi), who went to acting school, I was an accidental actress. I remember seeing Jaya at age 13 with her father, the distinguished journalist Tarun Kumar Bhaduri. Even at that age she was decked up, a rose in her hair and so on. She was very enamoured of the camera. She was destined to be an actress. I had no such aspirations. I actually wanted to go to Shanti Niketan. I wanted to be a dancer.”

Following the beguiling brouhaha over two of its major series Mirzapur and Tandav, Amazon Prime Video has decided to indefinitely postpone the release of their next Big Fat Indian Series. The Family Man Season 2 which was to stream from February 12 stands postponed for now. The trailer which was to release on January 19 will now be out closer to the new streaming date, whenever that may be.
Confirming this saddening development, a source very close to the project tells me, “It is true. The Family Man Season 2 has been postponed indefinitely, much to the disappointment of Manoj Bajpayee and the co-director Raj-DK. The reason is, the brand Amazon has taken a beating in India with two of their most successful shows Mirzapur and Tandav coming under the scanner for allegedly hurting popular sentiments. Amazon doesn’t feel the atmosphere is conducive to the release of a big franchise like The Family Man.”
But The Family Man has no controversial content at all?
Responds the source, “You know that. I know that. But who knows what triggers off an adverse reaction in the public? Amazon would rather wait for a more opportune time to release an important show like The Family Man.”
The source also adds that the co-director Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have nothing to do with the postponement. “Raj and DK have delivered the full series of the second season of The Family Man to Amazon. They have nothing to do with the decision to hold back the series. As far as Raj and DK are concerned the series is ready for streaming whenever Amazon decides to do so. The co-directors have no intention of modifying anything in the second season because there is nothing even remotely objectionable in the series.”

Popular musician Jackson Wang, who is known to create music in English, Korean and Chinese is kicking off 2021 on a great note. Coming from the popular K-pop group GOT7, the 26-year-old musician has dropped his first single of this year titled 'Alone'.
Released through Jackson's own label, Team Wang, the all Chinese track is composed and written by Jackson. He also took part in the production and the arrangement of the song. 'Alone' follows the success of his last single, 'Should've Let Go', with Singaporean singer-songwriter JJ Lin and was released in December. In 2020, Jackson Wang released two more singles including '100 Ways' and 'Pretty Please' and both had love stories at the center.
Jackson Wang has promised to release more music this year and fans can expect interesting content from him. Apart from his Team Wang fashion line, he has also assured fans that March month will be a busy one for him.
Earlier this month, it was announced that GOT7 members did not renew their contract with their longtime agency, JYP Entertainment. Planning to continue as soloists before reuniting as GOT7 members, each member has found new representation already. Jackson Wang took to his social media to confirm the news that his Team Wang label will work on global business with Sublime Artist Agency. He wrote on social media, "I always hope I can make you all proud. I'm so blessed for having you all. Supporting & giving confidence to a kid like me when I had none since day 1. Will try our best to create unique and special things. 2021. Different identities in different fields."
Team Wang also released a statement that read, "TEAM WANG and SUBLIME ARTIST AGENCY, one of our major business partners, will engage in extensive global collaboration in 2021. TEAM WANG and SUBLIME ARTIST AGENCY are collaborating across varying business functions and conducting business in the music industry, production, and managing various artists. Both companies will continue to develop businesses together."
Sublime Artist Agency confirmed that they will together with Team Wang on global business, including Korea and China, which is personally run and established by Jackson himself.

Vikas Gupta has reportedly been eliminated from the Bigg Boss 14 house. He had entered the house as a challenger in this season along with Arshi Khan, Kashmera Shah, Rahul Mahajan, Rakhi Sawant and Manu Punjabi. He was also a finalist on Bigg Boss 11.
A well-known Twitter handle which goes by the name The Khabri constantly updates about the show well in advance. According to the latest update, it has been confirmed by them that Vikas Gupta has been eliminated from the house and that the same will be revealed during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
This is the third time this season that Gupta will be walking out of the house. The first time he was asked to leave the house after he got into a physical fight with Arshi Khan and violated the rules of the house. However, he was brought back on viewer's demand. He once again exited the house on medical grounds, only to return in a couple of days.
Vikas Gupta was nominated alongside Nikki Tamboli, Rahul Vaidya and Devoleena Bhattacharjee who is currently playing in Eijaz Khan's place. Eijaz is currently outside the house shooting for a web series and will be back soon.

Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan have always maintained that they wanted to work together. But till date, they haven't been seen sharing screen space ever. But in 2021, it will all change and now, we hear that they have signed not one but two big projects together. Hrithik and Deepika have already announced their next - Siddharth Anand's Fighter which will showcase their jodi for the first time. Last week, there were reports that they are also starring in Madhu Mantena's version of Ramayana, that too in 3D.
Ever since the news went viral on the Internet, Kangana fans have targeted Hrithik and claimed he shouldn't play Ram on screen. Little do they know that Hrithik has a different role in the mytho-drama. A source shares, "Duggu had been in talks to play an important role in Deepika's Draupadi which was a modern retelling of the epic Mahabharat. But that film will happen later. Mantena is bankrolling Ramayana first and Hrithik will play Ravan's role in the epic period drama."
Incidentally, T-Series is also producing Adipurush which has Prabhas playing Ram, Kriti Sanon essaying Sita's role and Saif Ali Khan stepping in as Ravan. With the folks of the real Mirzapur up in arms against being portrayed as gun-toting criminals in the fictional Mirzapur, the series is likely to go back to the storyboard for some serious revamping before Season 3 begins shooting.
Among the changes that are likely to take place there may be a serious toning down of the verbal and visual violence which is to say, the characters won’t use gaalis as if they (the gaalis) were the only way to express rage (rage being the dominant emotion in the series, since everybody is angry all the time). In addition, the shoot-outs may not be that frequent.
But the better option is to rename the series and then reserve the rights to perpetrate the trademark mayhem.
Says one of the prominent actors from the series, “We haven’t really discussed the changes. But changes, there will be. When the first season came we didn’t have people from Mirzapur objecting to the series. But now, with protests there will be changes for sure. Dropping the title may be a last-ditch option to save the series.”
But if the series is not called Mirzapur, would it still have the same impact on viewers?
All these questions would now have to be explored in the light of the protests. One thing is for sure. You can’t have a series with the name of an actual town or city on the map and show it as a den of crime. There is hell to pay.

For the past few days, Rakhi Sawant has been pestering Abhinav Shukla inside the house saying that she is in love with him. All this in the presence of Shukla's wife Rubina Dilaik in the house. On Friday, Rakhi also pulled the drawstring of Shukla's pajama which left him and his wife fuming.
While many were disgusted by this behaviour of Rakhi including fans of the show, host Salman Khan has a different opinion. The latest promo of Bigg Boss 14 sees Salman Khan pulling up Abhinav instead of Rakhi. “If Rakhi is the biggest entertainer of Bigg Boss, then it is Abhinav who gets its maximum benefit.” To this, Abhinav folds his hands and replies, “I do not want such benefits.” But Khan interrupts him and says, “Let me finish. You don’t need to overreact to things like these.” A few moments later, Abhinav is seen getting up from his seat and telling everyone, "If this is entertainment, I want to go home right now.”
Rakhi has been pretending to be in love with Abhinav. Once she also wrote I love Abhinav on her body with red lipstick and walked around the house for a whole day. The Allahabad High Court on Friday stayed the arrest of producers of the Amazon Prime Video web series Mirzapur. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment were named in a FIR accusing them of improper and indecent portrayal of the town of Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh and also for outraging religious beliefs.
Division bench of justices Manoj Kumar Gupta and Subhash Chand while granting relief to the producers directed them to offer full cooperation in the investigation. The bench was hearing a writ petition filed by Akhtar And Sidhwani. The court also issued notice to the Uttar Pradesh Government and complainant seeking their replies.
“Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions made, till the next date of listing or till submission of police report under Section 173(2) CrPC, whichever is earlier, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioners in pursuance of the FIR registered. However, the petitioners shall offer full cooperation in the investigation,” the court said.
A case was filed against the producers at Kotwali Dehat Police Station in Mirzapur district under sections 295-A, 504, 505 and 34 of IPC and 67-A of IT Act.
Mirzapur is a two part series currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The series narrates the story of a dark world of guns, drugs and lawlessness.

It has been over two years since Shah Rukh Khan came with a release. While it is known that the superstar is shooting for Siddharth Anand directorial Pathan, the makers are yet to make an official announcement of the same. Recently pictures from the shoot location of Pathan went viral on social media.
The team of Pathan along with Shah Rukh Khan recently shot a high octane action sequence in Dubai. In the pictures it is seen that the crew is setting up heavy motor vehicles for the action sequence. A picture of Shah Rukh Khan from the set has also gone viral on social media.

And now, it has come to light that her next film, Pagglait, too has opted for a digital release. A source reveals, “Pagglait was completed somewhere in February 2020, just before the lockdown. It’s a slice-of-life comedy and the makers feel it’s apt for an OTT platform. Hence, they decided to release it on Netflix”. The source also adds that the streaming giant plans to release Pagglait in the next two months. It is produced by Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures.
Besides Sanya Malhotra, Pagglait also stars Sayani Gupta, Sharib Hashmi, Ashutosh Rana and Sheeba Chaddha. It’s directed by Umesh Bist, whose last film was O Teri (2014). He was also credited as the dialogue and screenplay writer of Hero (2015), the launch vehicle of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.
Sanya Malhotra has excitedly spoken about Pagglait and has called it a special film. It’s also the first time that she’ll be playing a solo lead in a film. Interestingly, her next film, Meenakshi Sundareshwar, co-starring Abhimanyu Dassani and produced by Karan Johar, will also be a Netflix release. Apart from these two films, she would also be seen in Love Hostel, co-starring Vikrant Massey and Bobby Deol. Devoleena Bhattacharjee who was one of the popular contestants of Bigg Boss 13, recently entered the ongoing season. Rakhi asked Devoleena if she was interested in housemate Rahul Vaidya. If Kartik Aaryan has extra time on hand it is because Anees Bazmi’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been put on hold indefinitely. No, that’s not the director Anees playing it safe on behalf of his entire team. It’s one of the film’s leading ladies Tabu who has refused to shoot until the pandemic is over.
A source very close to the project told me, “A major schedule of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in Jaipur was shut down in March 2020, and the unit had to disperse hastily amidst the pandemic scare. After the lockdown ended, director Anees Bazmi informed the cast and crew that the shooting would resume. But Tabu, who plays a major part in the film, refused to return, arguing that she was not feeling secure or safe shooting while the pandemic prevailed. The producers were left with no choice but to postpone shooting indefinitely.”
It’s good to see that Tabu’s wishes are respected. And that she has not been replaced by another actress. Just goes to prove, Tabu is irreplaceable.

The pandemic caused a major delay in several projects in the film industry. Shoots of all films and web series were brought to a halt for months during the pandmeic. While shoots have now resumed it has caused havoc in the scheduling of actors and has led to some change in casting.
Actor Angira Dhar who was to play the role of Haseena Parkar in the web series Dongri To Dubai has bowed out of the project. The web series directed by Shujat Saudagar has Avinash Tiwary play the role of Dawood Ibrahim. The shoot of the series was resumed recently at Madh Island in Mumbai. Reportedly, Angira has to now shoot for Ajay Devgn's MayDay. The makers of Dongri to Dubai also required the actress on the same dates and so Angira decided to walk out of the project.
Kritik Kamra will now play the role of Dawood's sister Haseena in the web series. Kamra was last seen in the recently released web series Tandav. Dongri To Dubai is based on a book by Hussain Zaidi.
