Shruti Haasan reveals images from her first modelling contract when she was 17

Shruti Haasan posted throwback images from her modelling days on Sunday (August 29), taking fans down memory lane. Her first modelling job, she confessed, was when she was 17 years old. She posted a series of images of herself dressed in various outfits. Shruti Haasan has been quite active on Instagram, sharing hilarious images and videos.

Shruti Haasan is looking forward to the release of Laabam, her forthcoming flick. Laabam, starring Vijay Sethupathi and directed by SP Jananathan, will be released in theatres on September 9th. The movie was supposed to be out in 2020; however it was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Shruti Haasan shared throwback images of herself from her modelling days on Instagram on August 29. She penned, "When I found these - my first ever modelling gig at 17! I look a bit poop and a bit star, but that’s like life isn’t it ? I’ve always loved working and growing, even sideways #memories #flashback (sic)."

In terms of work, 2021 has been a particularly remarkable year for Shruti Haasan. She began the year with Ravi Teja's Krack, which was released in theatres for Sankranti this year. Pitta Kathalu, a Netflix original, was also her digital debut. She most recently appeared in Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab, an adaptation of the Hindi hit Pink.

Shruti is reportedly filming a web series, which will be announced soon. She recently completed the Hyderabad portion of Prabhas’s Salaar.
