While Deepika will be seen sharing screen with real-life husband Ranveer Singh in the upcoming Kabir Khan's film '83, where Ranveer is playing the role of Cricketer Kapil Dev, Deepika will play his on-screen wife Romi Dev, year old actress also has various other projects including Shakun Batra's untitled next with Ananya Pandey and Siddhant Chaturvedi along with Siddharth Anand's Fighter starting Hrithik Roshan. Fighter will mark Deepika's first time screen sharing with the actor. Other projects include Pathan opposite Shah Rukh Khan, she is also a part of Nag Ashwin’s next opposite Prabhas and will also be seen in the official remake of The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan.
