Superstar Salman Khan’s debut film Biwi Ho To Aisi turned 33 on Wednesday. Initially, late Farooq Shaikh and Rekha were the lead casts of this family drama and Salman was not supposed to play the lead. However, there are many who have not seen this film, even more of them are not aware about Salman’s casting in the JK Bihari directorial.
During an episode of Salman hosted the Sony TV show, Dus Ka Dum, he said that his casting in Biwi Ho To Aisi was all about fate. He met JK Bihari two three years back and asked him that why he signed Salman for the movie, to which Bihari replied that he went to many stars who rejected the movie. Salman further said that Bihari told him whoever comes into his garage next; he will cast him in his next film. And at that time, Salman thought that he would make a high-speed entry in the garage.
The producer of the film, Suresh Bhagat had complete faith on Salman. In an old interview, Bhagat told media that when he saw Salman, he thought there was something about his personality that would grab attention. Suresh also revealed that at that time the director said, if Salman ever became a star, he would leave the industry. As promised, that filmmaker has left the industry.
As per reports, Salman had done Biwi Ho To Aisi for Rs 11,000. Moreover, most of the wardrobe that Salman wore during the shoot belonged to him only.
On the work front, Salman is currently busy shooting Tiger 3 in Russia with Katrina Kaif. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the release date of the film is yet to be announced.
