Actor Yami Gautam took everyone by surprise on Friday when she announced her wedding with Uri: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar. The couple took to their respective social media handles to share a picture from their wedding ceremony held on June 4. The couple had a private ceremony in the presence of their family members.

On Saturday morning, Yami shared some beautiful pictures from her Mehendi ceremony. She opted for a bright orange suit for the occasion with complementing traditional jewelry In the first picture, she can be seen smiling away at Aditya Dhar who is seen dressed in a blue suit. In the other two pictures, the actress is seen flaunting her Mehendi.

Meanwhile, announcing their wedding, the couple took to social media and wrote, “In your light, I learn to love - Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes.”

On the work front, Yami Gautam was last seen in the film Ginny Weds Sunny. She will next be seen in Bhoot Police and Dasvi. Meanwhile, Aditya Dhar is gearing up for his next directorial Ashwatthama.
