Arjun Kapoor has already worked with Mohit Suri in the past for Half Girlfriend that also starred Shraddha Kapoor. Reuniting after 5 years, Mohit Suri will direct Arjun Kapoor along with John Abraham, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria in Ek Villain Returns. The actor has been on a roll with movies back-to-back, after exploring the comedy genre with Bhoot Police and Sardar Ka Grandson, Arjun will be seen exploring the thriller genre with Ek Villain Returns.

He says that after Aditya Chopra, Mohit Suri has always had faith in him as an actor. When he’s working with Mohit, he keeps his head down and learns from the filmmaker. Arjun further said that Mohit Suri allows his actors to have creative freedom and that is very important to him as an actor. Apart from his direction, Arjun Kapoor is super excited to see the kind of music that Ek Villain Returns will have, he feels blessed to have had amazing music in his previous movies including Ishaqzaade, Two States, and Half Girlfriend.

While Arjun Kapoor had recently headed to Goa to begin the shoot for the film, Maharashtra has been imposed with a two-week-long lockdown amid the rise in COVID-19 cases.
