Senior actress and BJP MP Roopa Ganguly took to her social media handle and demanded for an investigation into the untimely demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). In her tweets, she addressed Sushant as a beautiful and positive soul and demanded justice for him.

In a series of tweets on Thursday and Friday, Ganguly demanded for an enquiry in the matter. She tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in all the posts.

"What I cannot understand is why such a brilliant inquisitive mind would choose such an alternative without any provocation.," she wrote in a post.

“We can not shall not deny to any person equality before the law or the equal protection of the laws within the territory of India. We owe it as common citizen, to our fallen beloved because his positivity meant a lot.#cbiforsushant,” she wrote in another tweet.
